A Paradise in Podium: Paradise Dynasty!

Paradise dynasty is an Oriental Cuisine which promises an exquisite yet affordable dining experience. It was my first time to dine here at Paradise Dynasty in one if their branches,i visited particularly, in Podium. The following are the new dishes you'd need to look out for:

1. Fried Duck - this duck is perfectly marinated with white peppercorns and Sichuan pepper carefully fried to ensure the crispy texture. The duck was tender but it has no special flavor, just the authentic taste of the duck. Additionally, this fried duck is shredded into pieces and sandwiched in a mantou bun, added some hoisin sauce, and some greens, and voila! This dish is filling and satifying. The sauce is especially good, too. It made the whole sandwich enjoyable.

  

        

   

               

2. Grouper with Pine Nuts and Fruits - the Grouper is fried to golden brown and topped with a special sauce and grilled pine nuts. The sauce has a sweet-tangy taste but the sweetness is more dominant, it's like a sweet and sour sauce. The grouper was also served in a delectable presentation. Honestly, mej nakakaumay siya if you eat a lot but nevertheless, it was good on my first few bites. You still can't say no to this!

   

3. Grilled Grouper with Tofu in Mapo Tofu Style - the Grouper is grilled and topped with tender tofu in an aromatic spicy sauce. This one was unique in taste with a soft tofu on top, you'll never get fed up with this since it has a mild spice that will wake your taste buds.

          

4. Shanghai Style Braised Pork Belly - this is a very famous dish in China where the pork belly is accurately glazed with various special sauces to achieve the right flavor. And it was indeed right! The flavour of this braised pork belly is heavenly. It has way too much fat but it was still good, i never knew i could eat so much fat that is this good. One of my faves!

    

5. Bok choy with Garlic - we never had the chance to taste this one since it is out of stock but i will surely order this one when i come back.

Besides from their new menu, i was able to try their most loved menus such as:
1.  The Original Xiao Long Bao & the Specialty Xiao Long Bao - there is actually a proper way on eating these (see photos below). The soup inside is really savory and the xiao long bao itself is really soft that you don't have to chew hard to digest everything. I loved it!

      

   

2. Charcoal Custard Lava Bun - this was really good. The balanced sweetness in this lava bun is just over the top. Definitely a must try!
